Binary Story is a three year after school intervention designed for and deployed in under-resourced schools and non-profits to introduce children (12 to 15 years) to computational thinking and problem solving using Computer Programming and Physical Computing as a tool in order to develop the attributes of real-world problem-solving in the students.
Gyanada Scholars supports girl children to attend low-budget private schools. The girls continuously track year on year until they complete schooling- this helps to address and prevent any situations that potentially result in a child dropping out of school.
“I wanted to be the wind to someone’s dream, Binary Story is one of the best ways to do that”
“To be part of an innovative program, Binary story is unique in a way that it makes kids think out of the box. Our aim was never to teach kids coding but to enhance their logical and computational thinking abilities. Apart from that, its a beautiful experience where we work together as family and learn from each other. Thanks you Gyanada Foundation for giving me this opportunity”
“The most interesting things about being BS a fellow were the strategies/techniques that we used to prepare, examples that we had to give to the students to explain the concepts. Many organizations provide basic necessities like food and clothing, however imparting a skill to someone that stays with them providing tangible benefits is the thing I like the most about this fellowship”
